All on Implants™ Dental Implants
Let’s start with a quick refresher on what All on Implants™ are.
They are a permanent solution to missing teeth. All on Implants™ implants are designed to replace all of your teeth, which is why they are most commonly used on patients who are missing multiple teeth or have bone loss or advanced gum disease.
Four implants are inserted into the gum lining. Two implants are placed on the upper arch and two are placed on the lower arch. These four implants then support the replacement teeth.
So, what makes All on Implants™ implants potentially more superior to traditional implants? The secret is in the positioning of the posterior implants.
The back two implants are placed at a 45-degree angle and inserted into the area of the jaw with the highest bone density. This angling technique ensures the support of the replacement teeth, even in patients who have bone loss.
Traditional dental implants cannot be inserted unless a patient has a strong jawbone to support them, so in most cases, patients with bone loss require bone grafting surgery prior to implantation.
All on Implants™ often eliminates the need for bone grafting, which saves the patient from undergoing multiple invasive surgeries. It also saves the patient money and time.

All on Implants™ Treatment: How it Works
From start to finish, the procedure for All on Implants™ implants takes just three days.
The process is remarkably efficient; the procedure for traditional implants can take up to three months. Even dentures take 2 to 4 weeks to prepare.
In your initial consultation, your dentist will talk to you about your dental history and your expectations for your implants. You will discuss what you’d like your smile to look like, and your dentist will address any concerns you may have about your treatment. Your dentist will then begin creating a tailored treatment plan. You’ll also require a 3D bone scan to assist in planning your treatment.
On the first day of your treatment, your dentist will prepare your gums for the All on Implants™ implants. They will administer a local or general anesthetic to make you comfortable, and then clear up any infection or evidence of disease. They will then insert the four implants.
On day two, you will work with your dentist to craft your smile. This will involve using a wax trial smile to preview how your new smile will look and function. During this process, you’ll be able to work with your dentist on changes to the shape, colour, and size of your new teeth. This adjustment period is very important and ensures you’ll love every aspect of your new smile.
On day three, your All on Implants™ implants will be inserted. Your dentist will run some final checks and review your smile. At this point, you can make final adjustments to the look and feel of your teeth.
In just three days, you’ll be walking out of our offices with a brand new smile — one that will last you a lifetime!
