Our story

Dental Boutique™ was founded in 2013 by Dr. Reuben Sim and Dr. May Chan, with a simple yet powerful vision: to reimagine what dentistry could feel like. Both had seen how patients often carried fear or negative experiences from the past into the dental chair. They wanted to create something different — a place where patients felt safe, understood, and supported, without judgement.

From that vision, Dental Boutique™ has grown from a single clinic in Melbourne to a network of locations across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Adelaide, Perth, Auckland, Mornington, Geelong, and Chatswood — caring for more than 150,000 patients along the way.
