Care
Dr Rachel Chamberlain’s journey into dentistry began when she had braces at 12 years old. As a child, she was self-conscious about her smile after years of thumb-sucking left her teeth protruded, making it difficult to close her lips naturally. Undergoing orthodontic treatment transformed her confidence and, in her words, shaped the person she is today.
More recently, Dr Rachel had Invisalign treatment herself to correct minor relapse. She believes that beyond boosting confidence, a beautiful smile can influence every aspect of life, from building friendships and relationships to achieving success in one’s career.
Expertise
Dr Rachel holds two degrees from the University of Otago: a Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences in Nutrition and Metabolism in Human Health (2014) and a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (2018). She has worked in multiple private practices across New Zealand, including Wellington, Hamilton, and Auckland, and recently spent two years working in Brisbane, where she completed the Mastering Porcelain Veneers course with Dr Andrew See to refine her cosmetic dentistry skills.
She has also attended numerous courses related to cosmetic dentistry and is a member of the New Zealand Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, keeping up to date with the latest dental techniques and technologies.
Now based in Auckland with her husband and two young daughters, Dr Rachel is excited to be part of her patients’ smile journeys. Outside the clinic, she enjoys practicing yoga and reformer pilates, as well as spending creative time with her daughters doing arts and crafts.
